The Feast Day of Our Lady of Pontmain is annually celebrated on the 17th of January every year.

In the 19th Century, The Province of Pontmain in France faced the risk of being completely ovrrun by a Huge Prussian Army that had already conquered some parts of Europe.
During this dark time for France Our Lady appeared to some simple peasant children inviting them to pray for Peace and for their Country.
Miraculously, Pontmain was not overun by the Prussian Army that outnumbered the numerically smaller French Army although they were at the gates of that province. They simply turned back and withdrew.
This is all due to the Miraculous Intercession and Prayers offered by the Virgin of Pontmain namely Mother Mary who cares for her Children in more ways than one as long as they have recourse to her.
